Picked this up from my WIP bag while I’m waiting for a new yarn order to arrive. This has been tucked away for six months with the neckline/yoke done and just joined in the round under the arms. Now for the miles of stockinette on tiny needles.
Looking over my old notes… it looks like I was struggling with the gauge. I am getting 28×40 on size 4s, which is a bit small so I decided to go up to the size Med.

Added about an extra 3 inches to the body length and did the i-cord bind off. It looks nice, but it really wants to roll.
Picked 94 sts up for first sleeve. Knit following the pattern, but decided not to do the i-cord bind off since my waist hem was just rolling anyway. So I knit one extra row and then did a standard bind off with a size 5 needle. It rolls a couple of rows and matches the waist just fine.

Done!
It looks great. I needed to ball another skein for just the last few rows of the second sleeve which was annoying. I could have made it work but since I had more yarn, I finished it off to match the first.
Like all Ozetta patterns, the directions were great. There was some fun shaping in the beginning, but lots of stockinette in the body. Definitely a TV knit project when you get under the arms. In the end, this did not take very long to finish, once I pulled it back out.
I coming to the conclusion that I’m not a huge fan of drop shoulder designs on me. I kinda feel like the sleeves sit a bit awkward. But overall, I do think this turned out super cute and I will get a lot of wear out of it in the spring.
I love this yarn. It has nice springiness to it for a cotton blend. It worked out nicely in this project and gave the tee a more fitted feel… which works better on my body type than the oversized, boxy look, so I’m happy. I just found out that there is a DK version of it which I definitely want to try out. I also think I have enough left in this colorway… almost 2 full skeins that I’m hoping is enough to make a tank with it.
